Wedding Location Scouting
Olivier Glod
I consider location scouting well in advance an essential part of my preparation for a wedding shoot. Not only does it allow me to wrap my head around some posing ideas, but it also helps me to ensure that I can fully concentrate on the happy couple and their big day by working around any potential pitfalls relating to location specifics such as challenging lighting situations or restricted access.
Margot and Philippe asked for their formals to be shot at one of my favourite places in Luxembourg, the Place de l'Europe; home to the Orchestre Philharmonique Luxembourg and the Mudam museum. On my way there, I also made a brief stop in Mersch, Kehlen and Nospelt.
The weather was just perfect, fingers crossed for tomorrow! :-)
