Un peu de tout, mais pas n’importe quoi!
Olivier Glod
The past 18 months have just been wonderful. My dormant love affair with photography has had its first spark a couple of years ago with the release of the iPhone4, but it really hit full stride when I finally decided to spring for a DSLR upgrade. Sure, I always had some sort of a point and shoot and also used the great Sony DSC-F717 and Alpha 100, but when I got my hands on the Canon 60D, I also started reading and researching more and more about everything related to photography. Books, blogs and magazines took (and take) up quite a bit of my time :-)
Fair warning: I do suffer from a serious case of GAS (Gear Addiction Syndrome), even more so since discovering the absolutely brilliant Fujifilm X cameras.
All of the aforementioned have been put to good use and resulted in quite a considerable amount of pictures shot, edited, shared and archived. Alas, all digitally (except the couple of books I have published via the excellent Blurb so far). Imho, this is not the way pictures are meant to be seen. In order to truly experience them, you have to be able to stand in front of them, take them in, FEEL them without the help of an electronic device. In view of this, it is now my honour to invite you to my first ever photography exhibition, during which I will showcase 40 handpicked pictures. Whether you like landscapes, nature, urbex or cityscapes, drop on by and have a look :-)

Here’s hoping to see you there!
