The exhibition
I have been quite busy these last few weeks. Between showing Joe and Max Harper around Luxembourg City and Echternach and having fun with the excellent Fujifilm XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS (a blog post will follow on this in a couple of days), I also managed to host my very first exhibition :-)
The grand opening was yesterday (Friday, August 16th 2013), 7 p.m.
I received the keys to the Galerie Denzelt on Wednesday afternoon and had Thursday booked for setting the exhibition up.
Unfortunately, I was off to a rough start. The material I had received to display the prints was partially pretty worn out. By the end of the afternoon, this resulted in one frame hitting the floor and breaking off two edges :-(
My heart skipped a beat...
I decided to take all the pictures down again and call it a day!
On Friday morning, (not so) well rested, I finally decided to buy some new display material on my own and spent the rest of the day setting the gallery up.
I was done by 5:45 p.m., so about one hour before the go-live...
Needless to say I was stressed beyond belief, but somehow relieved at the same time. Hey! I had managed the deadline ;-)
I won't bore you with the rest of the evening, but suffice to say: it was absolutely perfect and probably one of the proudest moments of my life (after the birth of my son and my wedding :-) ).
I'll just leave you with a couple of pictures...
... and a short "virtual tour" ;-)
Hoping to see you there, take care! :-)

My best friend, Benny, also took some shots :-)
